Season 2: Episode 7- Creating Retreat Energy Everyday

Hello, my friend, welcome back. I am so glad that you're joining me today. And I gotta tell ya, I am still buzzing from the energy of my retreat. That made me want to create an episode about this exact topic of how do you create the energy that is created on a retreat in your everyday life? How do you bring retreat energy home. And I actually want to invite in this shift of the way of thinking about it that you actually create abundance in your life through the art of creating space and bringing retreat energy into your life. So it's not just any space. It's not just sitting on the sofa. It is intense intentional space that allows transformation to begin to happen to evolve and what we all know in our busy lives is that we live busy lives because the world glorifies that. Our society has taught us to our calendars like it is a badge of honor. You know, for those of us as parents, we feel like if the kids are not running around nonstop, involved in all the activities, that we are failing them somehow, that they're gonna get behind, right? And generally, whether you have kids or not, we just pride ourselves on how much we can fit into a day.

And that is what I would like to invite you to shift your mindset around. Because what if the real magic and the real abundance happens in the space in between? So in today's episode, I'm going to share some insights about why space can create these breakthroughs, how space can bring the beauty of retreat energy into your everyday life. And then we're gonna walk through like four different ways or levels that you can immediately implement or start to plan to bring that retreat energy into your everyday life, whether you have two minutes to set aside or you actually do have those like two weeks to get away, is so indulgent and amazing. So let's dive in.

The first insight that I wanted to share with you is that in order to create retreat energy in our life, we actually need to think about the energetics of removal. And we are so conditioned to think that more is better. More action, more strategy, more doing. And yes, in business, in career success, that is true. But sometimes, and actually most of the time, the answer isn't addition, it's actually subtraction. So there's this beautiful, energetic principle that happens that when we remove ourselves from the noise, from the constant input from our phones and every digital device, from all of the demands and the distractions, we create space. And in that kind of white space that we've created, nature and God and the universe will fill up that space because that is an energetic principle. What is amazing is that what automatically starts to flow into that space is clarity. It's intuition. It's your ideas. It's your downloads. It's all of these things that we're trying to reach us but couldn't get through all the static. Like think about that of like you always have the best ideas in the shower, right? Or sometimes when you're driving your car because these things come to you because you don't have other distractions and your brain is allowed to just share these thoughts with you.

So I do see this even in my retreats or in my workshops that someone can come in feeling stuck or overwhelmed or unsure of their next move that I might know about if it's a one-on-one client. But oftentimes when you create that space, especially in a retreat setting, after we've created this container of listening to our heart and soul, that breakthroughs start to happen. And it is not because of me. It's not that I gave them the answers, but it's because they chose to slow down. They chose to give themselves this space to hear their own inner wisdom. And this actually happened to me. You know, I like to share the story about how I ended up doing sound bass is one of the primary things that I love to share in person and on retreats. I had been to sound bass before. I'm so into all the different spiritual and healing modalities that of course it interested me and I have a musical background and that interested me. But the ones that I went to, I really didn't love. Like they just weren't that great. Like one of them, really like hurt my ears. I thought this experience was going to damage my eardrums because it was some really loud facilitation. And to be fair, that's fine. It's just like music, right? Some sound bass resonate with some people and other sound bass resonate with others.

And so then that's the point is I went on this spiritual business retreat and I was there to figure out how to make a bigger impact, how to have my business grow, how to create financial abundance with my business. Within that retreat, it mostly was a lot of workshopping and things like that. But each day there were facilitators that came in. And so there was this woman who's based in LA, and she came in with two assistants and facilitated the most beautiful sound bath that I had ever experienced. I just completely melted. I completely surrendered. I had very gentle tears streaming down my face, which you know when you're laying down, they go sideways and into your temples and the hair on your temples. And I just remember that feeling of, you know, the wet hair on the sides of my face, but it was tears of almost remembrance. It was tears of knowing that, my direction of my business is going to include this. This is what a sound bath is supposed to be, or at least this is the kind of sound bath that I want to facilitate. It completely created just this profound realization of the direction of my business. And the fascinating thing about that is that this clarity didn't come from doing more in the workshops, right? It came from the experience. It came from stepping away. It came from choosing to allow myself to be in a place where the space was created. And that is the energetics of removal. That quantum leap happens when we step away from the noise.

All right, so moving into insight number two, and that is that retreat energy isn't a one size fits all, not everything is gonna be for everyone, it is about intention. And I really want to normalize this because I think sometimes we hear the word retreat and we picture sitting in silence on a meditation cushion for hours. And that is a beautiful thing for those that are called to it. But that is only one way of going on a retreat. There are other people who want to go on a yoga retreat and they want to just eat vegetarian food or even vegan food and not drink alcohol. And there are other people who see that and they're like, I would never go on a yoga retreat. Like I like doing yoga for exercise, but I'm not a vegetarian and I want to drink some wine when I am away from home. And so all of those things are correct for who you are and what your thoughts are around it. So think of that, that like retreat energy exists like on a rainbow, on a spectrum, and even for yourself, your soul is going to have different needs in different seasons of your life.

So sometimes a retreat is this like deep stillness and silence. Maybe it is a lot of meditation and journaling and being with yourself and resting. And sometimes it's adventure and play and exploring new places and trying new things and immersing yourself in the culture and joy and fun and spontaneity. And sometimes it's creative flow, like going to art classes or being at a writing retreat or an art retreat, you know, just truly expressing yourself. And sometimes it's truly about being in nature. It's like a nature immersion of hiking or being by the water or grounding in the earth and just remembering that you're a part of something so much bigger. That is one of the gifts of really being in nature, right? Is we remember that we are one with nature and it's such an incredible feeling.

So again, none of these is better than the other. It's just about tuning in and asking, what do I need right now? Because you can have fun and adventure and still be in retreat energy. You can have fun and adventure and still be in retreat energy. So retreats don't have to be this, you know, like serious, heavy or, you know, just inner work thing because actually the best inner work is laughter and exploration and connection and, you know, being able to play and being deeply nourished. So it's this key of being intentional. And it's also a mindset piece of it because I think a lot of people might think about retreats as like an escape. And an escape is more like running from something. It's avoiding, it is its own version of like numbing and distraction. And it's this energy of like, need to get away from my life because I'm so stressed out and I can't handle it. Whereas what I like to invite people to think about is that in a retreat, you're walking towards something. It's an intentional pause, presence, nourishment, connection. It is this energy of, I'm creating space to come home to myself, to receive, to transform, to have both inner connection and a deeper connection with the people around me. So you feel that difference, right?

And you can think about what do I want to create in my life right now if we're going to talk about maybe creating some of these experiences for yourself. So whether your retreat is a quiet reflection or a fun-filled exploration and vacation, the question is, what is your intention? Are you escaping or are you retreating? And are you avoiding or are you intentionally creating space? And I will say, there's no judgment if you just need to escape sometimes. We all do, that is life. But the transformation begins, the transformation happens in the retreat energy.

And so insight number three that I wanted to share, which I just hinted at, is that you don't have to wait for a week away. You can bring retreat energy into your daily life. And this is so important and this is what I'm so excited about after coming back from my retreat. And because I know not everyone can just book a week long retreat tomorrow or next month or even in the next few months, right? Like life happens and budgets exist, responsibility is a part of our lives and I totally get it.

But here's what I want you to remind yourself is that the retreat isn't just about going on a destination. It is a state of being. So you can create micro retreats in your everyday life. You can build rituals that bring that intentional pause, that sacred space into your morning, your afternoon, your evening, your week, your month. And some of the most successful people in the world do this. I have found it so interesting to learn that it is very popular in the CEO level world or the C-suite level world that they set aside time in silence every single morning. Some CEOs I know have set aside a full hour of silence and they call it that probably because meditation doesn't work for them and they're not trying to meditate, they're just using that hour of silence or whatever amount of time of silence just to think because their lives are so demanding that they need a window of time. They need a meeting with themselves that has no agenda, that has no phone, that has no other attendees. It's just an hour of this white space. And so they're creating an intentional, you know, almost emptiness. If there's like a positive version of that word, word and intentional emptiness where ideas can emerge. So just like we feel in the shower, what happens to us in the shower, we give ourselves intentional time for ideas to drop in, to process those ideas and where you can really connect to your vision and this is so brilliant because they're creating what I'm talking about this energy of having a retreat practice in their everyday life.

Your capacity to receive and your capacity to create the vision from your capacity to receive and your capacity to create the vision that you want to create for your life, for your legacy, it is directly related to your capacity to pause. If you are constantly going and constantly doing and constantly consuming information, and I know it's hard because this is how our world is, but there's no space for anything new to land. There's no space for you to tap into your inspiration. There's no room for your intuition. There's no space for this energetic abundance to flow in. And so when you decide that you're going to create some of this high vibe, retreat energy and create space even if it's just five minutes. You are signaling to the universe and to yourself. I'm ready. I'm open. I'm available. Because that space is actually not empty. It's full of potential. That space is where your potential lives. When we were just on our retreat, I think I shared this in one of the episodes since I got back. One of the women said, like, this is so amazing because it's just like doing silent therapy and these answers all come to you instead of talking for endless hours and going in circles that she allowed herself this space for her heart and soul to speak instead of her mind. And all of these answers came through. And she said that it was life-changing for her, which is so incredible to hear. And I'm so grateful. It's such a gift to know that I get to do this work that makes this kind of a difference for people.

Okay, so now let's get into the practical piece of it. I'd like the four levels and ways that you can bring retreat energy into your life from daily rituals and all the way to transformational immersions like the week away that I just facilitated. So level one, start with creating a daily retreat ritual. And I think that actually makes it more fun because we all hear like, you really should meditate. You should do your breath work. You should journal. And then it can start to feel like that. It's another thing on our list of things to do. Right. And that's not the energy that you want to come at it with. So if you just shift your wording to yourself of what you're calling it is this level one is creating a daily retreat ritual. So if you need to just start off at five minutes, great, 10 minutes, even better when you can get up to 20 minutes, that in and of itself can be life changing.

This isn't just self care, you guys. This is energetic maintenance. This is how you stay aligned and grounded and open to abundance in all areas of your life every single day. And when you start to do this energetic, maintenance. What's interesting is you do start to feel better. And I always like to say it isn't about feeling better in the moment. It is about who you become in the rest of your life. It's about who you become off the mat, not this 10 minute meditation just blew my mind. No, you are regulating, you are changing how you react to things. And it changes who you are in the rest of your life.

This daily retreat ritual, can look like so many different things. You get to choose, you know, is it a morning routine? Is it just having your coffee in silence? Does that silence idea resonate more with you? Is it just, you know, deciding to have that 10 minutes of no phone, no scrolling? It's just you and your coffee and the sunrise. Maybe it's journaling. Just this stream of consciousness writing to clear your mind and connect to your inner voice because we all every day have a stream of thought of what needs to happen that day, what's going on in the background that we're feeling heavy about, or what are we super excited about, what did we love that happened yesterday. And if you just start free writing, your mind can work out so many solutions that if you haven't done it much in the past or at all, you will be astounded as to what comes out. So yes, it is like keeping a diary from back in the day. That was good advice for us. Like try it again, go back to it.

Of course, it can also be meditation. It can be breath work. I absolutely love both of those because they are changing your brain. They are changing how your nervous system is operating and putting you into a parasympathetic state. And this has been shown in science to improve your brain and stress levels and sleep. And there's just so many benefits to deciding to incorporate meditation and breath work in your life. So maybe it's that. And again, maybe it's a walk out in nature and paying attention to nature. So walking without your phone, just going on, you know, I like to call a happiness hunt of looking for your favorite colors really noticing all the different shades of green in nature around us and just being aware of your thoughts.

Also, it could be an evening routine it could be like the lovely bath ritual which I know in the self-care world or people who kind of you know, roll their eyes at the self-care world that it's like, you know, just do a bubble bath. But honestly, water is one of the earth elements. And so taking a bath with Epsom salts or whatever feels nourishing to you is actually so nourishing for your body. It is why we love it. So don't feel like it's indulgent. It's really, really healthy for you. The evening is also a great time to be reading something that inspires you. Choose to put down that phone and read instead. Maybe an evening yoga nidra meditation practice will help you sleep more.

Maybe it's actually stretching your body or of course doing that gratitude practice. And we will have an entire episode on gratitude in November. It is one of my favorite topics. I could do an entire podcast series on gratitude. That is a really important and powerful piece to bring into retreat energy. So I would say that non-negotiable here is the distraction. So no phone and no input and just being with yourself.

So for this first level, I invite you to pick one of those ideas or any other ritual that you love and commit to it for the next seven days. And just one, make it simple, make it doable, and see what shifts. And for me, my daily retreat ritual is that I love to sip my coffee, I love to listen to a guided meditation. I do try to journal. I don't necessarily do that every day. And sometimes I do split it up. I'm lucky enough to have a flexible life. And so I might journal in the middle of the day. But before I look at my phone in the morning, definitely before I check my email, I sit with myself. I say prayers of gratitude for my family, for my cozy bed, for my coffee. And then I also listen. I listen to my heart and soul. And when I do set aside time to journal, when I really want to bring in that retreat energy, I might make a whole real ritual out of it. I might light a candle. I might burn some Palo Santo or sage. Sometimes I write pages and pages and sometimes I might write like three sentences and you know what it doesn't matter. What matters is that I'm creating space. I'm creating that intentional pause. I'm choosing to slow down and I am choosing this every single day and it sets the tone for my entire day. It sets the tone for my week. And I really feel like it's made such a difference in my life overall.

So the next idea that I have for you of the next level of what you could do to create retreat energy in your life is to actually give yourself the gift of a half day reset. That is so powerful when you can give yourself more than just this moment, more than just a few minutes. But it's hard to take a full day or, of course, a full week. Maybe it's a Saturday morning. Maybe it's a Sunday afternoon. If you have a flexible schedule, maybe it's during the week. But think about creating a block of two to four hours in your calendar and decide to protect that time.

And now your half day retreat could take on so many forms depending upon what you need. And where this happens is totally up to you. Like it could be in your home, but if there's kids or husband or whatever going on, maybe you can find a way to be somewhere else for two to four hours. But however, and wherever you want to do it, there's a few different ways to think about it. This could be a stillness retreat like we talked about. So it could be the journaling, the meditating, the rest. Maybe there is some gentle movement in there. Maybe it's giving yourself a nourishing meal, but it's choosing to do some deep inner work in that time block. Another way would be to choose to create an adventure retreat for yourself. So again, in that same time block, maybe it's going to explore a new neighborhood, visit a museum, be spontaneous. So maybe it is this more playful exploration energy, but you are not on your phone. You're actually just taking it in and really absorbing what it feels like to immerse yourself in this adventurous, nourishing moment. You could do a similar version and do a creative retreat. And so take that two to four hours to work on a passion project, work on one of your hobbies. Maybe it's making art or writing for pleasure or playing music or listening to music. In this, it is more about creation versus the listening to music. So maybe that's dancing. This energy, I want you to feel that you're letting yourself create without any pressure. There's no competition of whether it's good or not. You're just creating for the joy of feeling your creativity and flow. Finally, the fourth idea I have is doing that nature retreat. So maybe it's setting aside the two to four hours to go to a forest preserve or to hike, to do a beach walk. Maybe it's just sitting outside in nature. Maybe it's sitting on a park bench by a tree, watching water somewhere. So doing some kind of grounding practice to reconnect with the earth, with nature and just letting yourself be truly nourished by that. And if you are doing that and you're sitting on a bench somewhere or even on a hike, you know, you're going to sit and rest somewhere. I think it would be fun to bring your journal with you and add that in to the nature retreat.

So again, it's this setting, the intention of, you know, at the beginning of this half day of what do you want to receive? What do you want to release? Then when you spend this time, actually reflect on it and say what came through for you, what surprised you, what was so joyful about that. I love this because it's such a powerful practice. doesn't require a plane ticket or the beautiful retreat center. You can just do this in that window of time that you block out. And it feels very doable and very achievable and you know, if you've got kids and the husband and it feels doable in all of that, right?

Of course, level three is doing a weekend retreat. So say this is like one to three days where you allow yourself that deeper container for transformation to really unplug, to go inward or outward or depending upon what you need. And of course, this could still be at home, but it would, I would say it would have to be when everybody else is gone. So unless you live by yourself, it would be a weekend at home by yourself. And instead of just, you know, watching Netflix all night when you have an evening alone or weekend alone, not that I'm against Netflix, you can watch it, but deciding to bring a retreat energy into that window of time.

You could also do this, rent an Airbnb for a weekend, go up into the forest somewhere where there's a beautiful Airbnb, or go to a hotel if you wanted to. Just somewhere completely new is also so nourishing, but the location doesn't matter as much as the intention. Are you tired of me saying that yet? I talk about intention all the time. This is, my book, again, is called designed to shine, living intentionally to discover your inner light. And so it is, it's about intention. So of course, a weekend retreat, there's guided ones that are around, but you could do this solo too. like the beauty of doing it on your own or even with a girlfriend or two is that you give yourself complete freedom. You get to move at your own rhythm. You get to follow your intuition and you get to do whatever feels right in that moment. There's something so powerful about being alone with yourself when no one else's energy is in the mix. So there's nothing else that you have to navigate, right? So if you do it with girlfriends, you're adding that to the mix a little bit.

A lot of business people do this as well, that if you wanna plan out your year ahead, go spend a night or two at a hotel by yourself and plan out your business. It's such a powerful way to focus and really get the details done.

And of course, then there's guided retreats. And I haven't done many that are this short, but I am going to try to create more opportunities for this and do, we'll do both mini day retreats as well as some weekend options. But the thing that's amazing about a guided retreat is it does give you that structure. So if you feel like that, you want to set aside this time, but you actually would just watch Netflix. It's really nice to have structure and community and facilitated breakthroughs. So when someone else is holding that container, it means you get to fully surrender and receive. And so both are beautiful. It just depends on what you need and what works best for you.

So if you're doing a solo retreat, what I would recommend bringing, of course, is your journal, maybe some books that inspire you, definitely pack your cozy clothes. It's just anything that supports your intentions. So if you're into the extra spiritual stuff like I am, maybe that's Oracle cards and some crystals if you are gonna be creative, maybe it's art supplies, and maybe it's nothing at all. But again, unless you're doing the work retreat to plan out your business, what you want to leave behind is obligations. You want to leave behind work. You want to leave behind that need to hustle and to be productive. This is your time to just be. And that is the retreat energy that you get to gift yourself to slow down on purpose.

And listen, this is where I love the mix of an adventure and retreat energy combination so that you're exploring and you're exploring inward as well. you can absolutely just go stay somewhere new on your own, explore during the day, try new restaurants, coffee shops, have fun, explore neighborhoods, but that then come back and journal and rest and maybe either do meditations on your own or maybe you find a local yoga studio or some event that's happening that you want to attend. And then you get to have this adventure and transformation. They're not mutually exclusive, right? You get to have joy and you get to have depth.

So again, you're setting that intention before you go. What do you want to shift? What do you want to heal? What do you want to create or receive? And you write it down. Maybe you even speak it out loud and then trust that this time that you're giving yourself that is your special retreat will give you exactly what you need.

And of course, level four is the big transformation, the typical retreat away that is five days or more. And that's what I just got back from, and I'm a few weeks out from facilitating it, and I am still just buzzing from it because this is so powerful. This is when you know that maybe it's just time for a bigger pause like that. Maybe you're at a crossroads or maybe it's just a moment in your life that things have transitioned a lot and you're feeling called to go explore and go inward. And so it's something new that's calling you forth, but you don't really hear it clearly yet. And maybe it's just that you want to go have fun with a group of women. And maybe it's that you need deep, deep rest, deep recalibration and renewal.

And I know that what comes up for people when they think about going away for a whole week or so is that, you know, I can't take that much time away. And I do hear you. get it. Like it's costly to take that much time away. And it's a big ask of your family and responsibilities and work. But something to ask yourself is. Is it just that you haven't given yourself permission to go away? Can you really not take this time off? Because I am here to share from my own experience, everything will be okay while you're gone. Your business, your career, your job is going to survive. Your family's going to be fine. They might be amazing without you. They might learn to do so many things. The world will keep turning.

My example of that is that back in, so 10 years ago is one of the first times that I did a big trip like this with my friend Beth, who I co-facilitate the retreats now when we just did the Azores Islands together. That was with my friend Beth and she is a travel agent and she has done women's trips for so long. And I saw them happening over, you know, the years prior and I was like, how do I get to be a part of that? They're like, you just sign up. I was like, that's amazing. I would like to do that. So 10 years ago, I went with her, a group of 12 women, to Argentina. And this was the conversation that I had with my husband. I'm like, hey, guess what? You and I are not ever going to car. And this was the conversation that I had with my husband is I was like, Hey, guess what? You and I are not ever going to Argentina or maybe not ever, but not anytime soon. not going to Argentina. The two of us leaving the kids behind. Right. And now that it's 10 years later and our kids are 22 and 20, we could, but at the time it felt like this will never happen. And I was like, this is a trip of a lifetime with. All of these women, I knew a couple of them, a lot of them I didn't know at all. I met them on the trip and I was like, this is an experience that I want to have. I want to go do this in Argentina. And when I, you know, communicated with him and shared that he was like, okay, we'll figure it out. And do you know what? It's how my boys learn to do their laundry. It's, there was so much growth that happened for the whole family for me to be away, went away for 12 days. That is a long time when your kids are 12 and 10. But I came back more aligned, more inspired and connected, more grateful, grateful for the experience I just had and grateful for my family for figuring out life without me. It was just this sense of more. And that sense of more comes into every retreat. You go home feeling more than you have felt in a long time. And so, yes, it's an investment of time. It's an investment of money. It's an investment of courage. But it's not really an indulgence. It is what I see as an expansion, and it is a life enhancing expansion.

So how do you do that without the guilt? So again, first, it's giving yourself permission. You decide that you are worth it because you are. And second, you've got to communicate. You've got to like share with your partner or if you're not partnered, maybe it's that you're sharing with work and planning ahead. You have to plan these ahead time and you set up whatever boundaries or lessons that need to have happen like doing your laundry for the kids. And just, you know, if you're really going on more of a retreat inward, it's, you know, letting people know that you're going to be pretty unplugged on this trip. So not that you're not going to have your phone, you can check in every day, but you're not going to be checking your email. So you set up your out of office, you delegate what needs to be delegated and you just let everybody know, especially your loved ones, like, love you, but I'm going to be really present on this trip. So we're not going to talk as much as we normally do. And guess what? They're going to be fine.

So the third piece of that is just, you know, to trust and surrender. You trust that this time away is exactly what you need. Trust that this return on your investment on the retreat will be exponential, even if you can't measure it in dollars. The energy that it brings into your life and stays with you is so powerful. And just like we talked about for the other retreats, there are so many retreats out there. There's spiritual meditation retreats, there's creative immersions. There's nature-based adventures, there's cultural exploration, there's wellness retreats that incorporate the healing modalities along with physical things and nutrition and all of that. But the beautiful thing that I like to do is blend them as much as you can. And you just want to check in with yourself of what you want. Can you look at a retreat and see, this retreat combines the slowing down with adventure. And if that's what lights you up, you don't have to choose one or another. in my retreats, we go deep into the spiritual and energetic work, but we also play, we explore, we have fun. I want people to leave there with a sense of joy because that is the point.

Transformation doesn't have to be heavy, it gets to be playful, it gets to be joyful. And so if that is resonating with you, I would love to invite you to join me. am planning out some 2026 retreats right now, and I'm building the wait list so that you can see what my different events, experiences and retreats are. And they are more intimate. know, there's a lot of yoga retreats that might have like 30 or 40 people on them. And I don't like to do that. That gets too big, especially our international ones that I co-host with my friend Beth. We cap out at 12 total. So that's only 10 people coming with us. There are some other ones that I might make a little bit bigger. So you can hear all about this when the details come out, but you can just join the wait list. So email me from the show notes. My email is in the show notes. You can also contact me through my website and just know that these are these amazing intimate intentional experiences and we dive into energetics and embodiment, but we also laugh. We explore beautiful places. create memories and it's just this perfect blend. So I would love for you to hop on that wait list and then you'll be one of the first to know when registration opens for the various different ones.

I do also offer single one-on-one sessions on Zoom and we can just create that special hour of some breath work, some meditation, pulling cards. It's actually just this sacred white space just for you. So a one hour session could be this personal mini retreat and will create the container and do the practice and give you space to receive whatever wants to go through.

And also, if you have a team or group where you work or volunteer, I can come in and facilitate a half day retreat for your crew. So if you want something that's completely custom, I offer one-on-one retreat days, whatever it is that from this episode today resonated with you, know that we can create it. We can create it together. You can create it on your own. Reach out if you feel called to have me be a part of facilitating that. And if not, I'm so excited that this episode is encouraging you to bring that retreat energy into your life, no matter where you are at.

As a reminder, as we talked about at the beginning, what you can do right now is take your calendar out and create space this week for when you're gonna do those daily rituals and just commit to it for the next seven days. And when you create structure like that, it really allows that feeling of abundance to start to flow. It flows into that intentional space that you created. And so you can create it right now. You could create it in the next five minutes. So just give yourself permission. You are allowed to pause. You're allowed to rest. You're allowed to step away. And it doesn't have to be someday. You're allowed to right now.

So in closing, what I want to leave you with today is remembering that you are designing your life when you design your pauses, this retreat energy ritual, your energy, your space. When you choose to bring retreat energy into your everyday life, you're creating the conditions for transformation to happen naturally. You're giving yourself permission to receive and to set your energy so that the magic happens.

And then guess what? You just are abundant by design.

Thank you so much for being here with me today. I hope this episode inspires you to pause, to create space, to retreat, even if it's just for a few minutes. And I will see you next week for another episode. can't wait to hear how creating some space helped you feel. Please reach out and let me know. So until then, enjoy that space and have a beautiful week.
