Soul-Aligned Life Design - Inaugural Sanctuary Sunday

Hello and Welcome to this fresh start of my new weekly newsletter!

I want this to be your moment to pause, feel the protection of your inner peace, and honor the extraordinary power within you.

My intention is to share some of my favorite ways to incorporate self care, gratitude, and intentional living to cultivate and embody the person you want to show up as each day and each week, with ease and joy. I will show you how to bridge the gap between the whispers of your heart and soul and the reality of your daily life.

This will be delivered in a variety of ways, from mindset practices, recorded meditations, breathwork, and tapping practices, and other special surprises to help you ground into that centered place. It is a body, mind, and soul series.

This week, it starts with creating your Sanctuary Sunday Intentions.

Grounding in the Present Moment:

As you read this email and prepare for the week ahead, allow in moments of ease with the power of your breath. I love breathwork so much, because it gets you out of your thinking mind and lets you drop into the present moment, reducing stress and calming your nervous system. It’s the quickest and easiest self-care gift you can give yourself.

A quick practice you can do anytime:

Inhale slowly to a count of 4 from the base of the belly, up through the diaphragm, then to the top of the lungs and hold for a moment. Then slowly exhale to a count of 8, moving back down the lungs, diaphragm, and emptying out completely by pulling the belly button back to the spine. Repeat 3 times. Feel a touch of bliss.

  1. What went well this past week that I want to bring forward into this week?

  2. How can I support myself to make sure that happens?

  3. Who do I want to BE this week?

When your brain replies, “I have no idea,I don’t know.” realize that this is totally normal. Give yourself some grace, and then ask again, “Yes, but what if I did know?”

This practice of reflection and creating a vision allows you to design the NOW that you want.

Grounding in the Present Moment

As you move through your day and week, choose to express gratitude at a much deeper level than just a “thank you for this yummy coffee/tea.” Think of the coffee farmers, the roasters, the delivery people, the coffee cup maker, and the countless others that had an impact on your ability to savor that cup. It’s actually amazing how interconnected we all are, isn’t it? What a gift.

I honor my inner wisdom by grounding into the present moment with purpose, power, ease, and grace.

I would love to hear your feedback as well! Let me know if there is anything specific that you would like to learn more about.

I wish you a soul-aligned, intentionally beautiful week.

With love and light,

Kristin
