Season 2: Episode 3- The Law of Vibration: The Frequency of Your Success
Hello and welcome back. Today we are diving deeper into one of my favorite topics, the law of vibration. The law of vibration is the secret. It is the frequency to your success in all areas of life. It's actually really practical. I know some of you might think that it's kind of out there and my goal in this episode is to show you. The law of vibration actually shapes your life. And there are simple ways to shift your vibration so that you can intentionally create a life that is abundant by design, allow life to flow more easily.
Most people have heard of the law of attraction. It's this idea that like attracts like, that what you focus on, you bring into your life. But here's the truth that doesn't get talked about enough. It is that the law of attraction only works because of the more foundational law, which is the law of vibration. Everything in the universe is energy. Nothing is standing still. So when I'm recording this and I'm sitting in a chair at my desk, sure looks like my desk and chair is sitting still, but the cool science that I don't fully understand is that even within those objects, the matter within them are vibrating. So think about that with your thoughts, your emotions, your words, even your body. They're all vibrating at different frequencies and just constantly sending signals out into the world. We know this when various people walk into a room, right?
You can very often sense when someone is happy, when someone is sad, when someone is angry, when someone is shy, when someone has a big personality and big energy. You can feel that from their vibration when they walk in the room.
So here's the key, is that you don't attract what you want, you attract what you are. So you attract your level of vibration. So if you're living in fear and stress and scarcity and overwhelm and anxiety, then you're going to notice more of the same. But when you shift and you shift into gratitude and you shift into love and you shift into trust and you shift into your personal power and your alignment, well then community and connections and opportunity and abundance all flows to you so much more easily almost effortlessly.
So today, we're just going to keep breaking this down a little bit more and have you really begin to shift your vibration in simple practical ways so that you can up level your frequency up level your life. I'll share some examples that make it easier to understand. And of course, we're going to talk about my favorite sound healing practices and why sound healing is actually just so effective for your body and your frequency. And then just by the end of this episode, you'll not only understand the law of vibration and how it's actually really affecting your life, but you'll have the tools to start living in a state that you have the power to raise your vibration.
Let's dive in. I want to start by just really giving you a very tangible example. And think about it this way, when we are chasing anything, right? If we are chasing success, if we are chasing love or a certain friendship, if we're chasing opportunities and we have frantic energy behind that. That is like running around in a field and we're trying to catch butterflies. And there's butterflies everywhere. We can see them and we're running towards them, but what do the butterflies do? They are all gonna scatter. They fly away because the harder we chase them, the further away they seem. And at the same moment, if you sat in this beautiful wildflower field and you sat still and you softened, and you allowed yourself to just simply be in your own presence, surrounded by flowers, surrounded by butterflies. After you really got still and you really allowed your vibration to be at ease, the butterflies can come to you. They would land. They would find you just naturally. And that's exactly how vibration works in our everyday life. So when our energy is grasping or just chaotic or just tired, all of those vibrations push things away. But when your vibration is elevated and calm and opened and feels soul aligned to you, then all the other things that you want to fall into place in your life, can start to move towards you, can start to fall into place. That's just truly the essence of the law of vibration. That when you're grasping or chasing or upset, all of that repels what you want. And when you're in ease and alignment and trust, then all the things that you want for this beautiful life can just naturally land.
With that thought, I invite you to just hold the reflection of abundance shows up when you sit in the energy of already being whole. And again, I know all of our brains like to dive into like, is she talking about abundance and money? Maybe I don't need money or my life is abundant financially. So, okay, so back off of that one. Think of abundance in all areas of your life, in love, in friendships, in family, in purpose, in fulfillment, in joy, in fun, and again reflect on. Abundance shows up when you're in the energy of already being whole.

So use that as a mantra this week going forward, but now let's talk about how you can actually shift your vibration in real time. Good example of what did I do right before I started this podcast. So I'm going to shift my vibration, right? I don't want to be in a low energy state when I'm recording. So I do some breath work. actually physically shake my body, like vibrate my body to move energy so that I'm not in a stuck energy state. I hummed a little bit and sang a little bit to get my voice going. So there's a lot of things that you can do in the moment. And I'm going to give you just five quick tips of how to shift your vibration in real time at any point in time in the day.
So first of all, is creating that awareness of like you notice what is your current frequency? Do you feel tense or anxious or rushed? Or do you feel open, calm, grounded? Or what do you want to feel in the next moment, for the next meeting, for the rest of the day, when the kids come home from school, or whatever it is that you have in front of you? Even if it's alone, how do you want to feel? So start tuning into how your body feels in the moment and the quality of your thoughts that are bringing you there. Because a lovely thing that I like to make people aware of is that our thoughts is just our brain talking. And we have the ability to talk back to it. So if it's giving us some self-sabotage, if it's giving us some self-doubt, we can say, no thank you, I'm setting that off to the side for now, and I am going to change how I feel. So that awareness alone starts to shift things.
And then, tip number two is breath work. This is one of my very favorite things. If you've ever come to one of my sound baths in person, we always do breath work first. Breath work is the most incredible tool because it's this lovely thing in our body that's happening, even if we don't tell it to do anything, but it's the only system that we also get to shift. We get to say, I'm going to use this incredible tool in my body that is one of the fastest ways that I can change my vibration. So, when you slow down your breathing, when you lengthen your exhale, you signal safety to your nervous system. So just do that for a moment right here. Let's inhale for four, three, two, one, and exhale for six, five, four, three, two, one. Do it one more time. Inhale for four, three, two, one, and exhale for six, five, four, three, two, one. And just notice in taking those deeper exhales, you could do it a couple more times while I'm talking, and just notice how your body softens from those deep inhales and exhales and how it creates a presence and it turns on that safety feeling, the safety vibration. And then no matter what you need, if you're trying to be calmer or maybe you want to be in a very empowered, bigger energy state, you can use your breath to create both of those scenarios. allow yourself the gift of breath work. And then when you've created this extra space, this extra softening, you can drop into gratitude.
This is number three, gratitude. Gratitude. immediately raises your vibration because it shifts your focus. So instead of what's missing or this whole long list of things that you have to do, or what about all these things that can go wrong? Instead, you are focusing on what is already abundant in your life? What do you have so much appreciation for? And of we all know that doing a gratitude practice, writing three things down every morning that you're grateful for or at the end of the day writing down three things that you're so grateful for that happened that day. When you write them out or even if you just want to take the time to think them through allow yourself to feel them and you let the gratitude fill your whole body. And even as I'm saying that, it gives me chills. I can feel it changing my vibration and sitting in my cells. And that is what our body needs to elevate into this higher energy and vibrational state.
So tip number four is of course movement. So when I was saying that I did that earlier, that I actually shook my body, And I even like tap my arms and with my hands of my alternate hands and arms, I tap them and it just helps move. So even if you don't have time to go out for a walk or run, but you need in the moment to shift your energy, shake your body. Energy gets stuck when we stay still for too long. So put on a song you love and dance around your kitchen. Again, shake your body or if you do have time to go for a walk outside that always moves so much heavy energy. So whatever you can do to move, don't let your brain say you don't have time. You can do something so quickly because it is so simple to use that movement to raise your vibration. So give yourself the gift of that.
Number five is visualization. Visualization is so powerful. Your mind doesn't know the difference between what's real and what's vividly imagined. Isn't that crazy? But think about, know, when we watch movies, we're, we get so ingrained, you know, we can sob at movies, we laugh out loud at movies. We can do that within our brain. Professional athletes do this. Artists do this. When you visualize your future self living abundantly, and even if your future self is just later in the day, maybe it's living more with more gratitude, maybe it's living with more presence, I think presence is one of the things that's so hard for all of us because again, our brain is always either worrying about the past or worrying about the future. You give yourself the ability to visualize who you are going to be later today, later this week, later this month and seeing your higher self move into that, you get to begin to shift into that vibration right now. When you picture yourself already there and you already feel it and you're already aligned, your frequency rises to meet that vision. All of these small shifts, and there's so many more that you can do, they aren't just nice to haves, they are how you entangle intentionally direct your vibration and this literally shifts your life. It changes your life so give yourself the power of knowing that you can do that.
Now I can't wrap up a lot of vibration episode without talking about Sound healing and sound bass and sound immersion because it's such a big part of my life and I am so grateful that I get to share the work that I do with the world by using these beautiful instruments that carry all these different frequencies and vibrations that help people shift stuck energy into a state of deep relaxation, which is so hard for all of us to do.
If you are not aware of what a sound bath is, there isn't one specific correct way, there are people that just do gong baths. So they just play beautiful, huge gongs. There are people that only use the Tibetan metal bowls. There are people that only use the crystal bowls. And so just like music, every facilitator who holds space in doing sound baths has a different style and it's always going to be different and probably every time they play it's going to be different.
The way that I like to do my sound bath, I have a lot of different instruments because I really do like having a variety of chimes, a variety of bowls, both crystal bowls and the metal Tibetan bowls. I do have a couple of small gongs. I do not currently have my own studio. So, you know, I think for those beautiful big gongs you either need to turn a room in your house into a studio or you need to have a studio, is not something I've chosen to do as of yet. But I do love the deeper resonance of a gong. So depending upon where I'm going or what I feel like playing that day, because my vibration also affects how I show up to a sound bath. I have some smaller ones that are travel friendly that I take to the sound baths that I facilitate.
What's so incredible, why I fell in love with it is because so many people try to meditate and maybe they even have a practice for a little while or maybe they only tried it once and they're like, I hate it, I can't do it, my brain doesn't stop. And what sound bath do for you is allow you to drop into that meditative state. even the most high-strung type A driven person can finally rest and relax, can finally drop into a healing state and allow the frequencies of the instruments to move this energy for you.
Another thing I always like to say about sound baths is that it's kind of like getting a massage, a body massage, whereas generally it feels good, but sometimes it doesn't. Like when they hit that knot in your body, that can kind of hurt and that can happen in the sound bath. But the thing that's incredible about that is knowing that it's actually just moving an energetic knot. So in the same way when we get the body massage, it doesn't feel good, but we need the knot out. That's why we're there. And so a sound bath does this similar thing of moving out these energetic knots in our system.
The other things that are happening in a sound bath is that your brain waves, when they're listening to all these different beautiful instruments, go into a state that's called entrainment. And so they entrain into the frequencies of the instruments. So you get to move from your busy overthinking beta brainwave state into the calmer brainwave states of alpha, theta, or even delta, which is the deepest state of deep relaxation. And that allows you to tap into your intuition. It allows you to tap into healing at a physical level, at an emotional level, spiritual, mental. It's really beautiful. And also your body is water. Your body's like 70 % water, something like that. And so these sound waves, literally move through you, kind of reorganizing and harmonizing yourselves. It's like creating waves and beautiful geometric patterns that we don't get to see, but you can feel the music. You can feel the sounds in wherever it hits you. Maybe it's in your chest. Maybe it's in your jaw. Maybe it's in an energetic state that you feel it and it brings up emotions. It's why certain tones and frequencies give you chills. And that's where, that's why I actually like to play with so many different instruments because different instruments vibrate at different Hertz, which is really getting into the musical scientific detail of the different Hertz. So some of them calm the nervous system, some energized, some release those stuck emotions.
So I've been playing with quartz crystal bowls for a while, which are tuned to the chakra systems, which is really beautiful. But I also just added some crystal alchemy bowls to my instrument set. And those are infused, they are still quartz bowls, but they're infused with crystal gemstones and each one resonates at a frequency that has the healing properties of those crystals and that interacts with your energy field of what you need. So of course, I think sound baths are so incredible. People leave having released stuck emotions, they feel lighter, they feel more peaceful, they feel just this deep, sacred rest. They may even feel more clear about decisions and clarity in their life and how they want to handle some things.
Sound is this direct physical way to raise your vibration. I know it doesn't seem physical, but it is physical. So very quickly and effectively. And so how could you do that? You could, well, if you want to buy instruments, you could start there, but without doing that, you actually can also just hum, humming. And if you want to, you could actually close your ears, know, like use your fingers or cup your ears with your hands and hum. And it makes this really beautiful sound of like bees and it really centers you. So our own voice is the most healing sound that we have. That's why in a lot of yoga practices, there is chanting, you know, I believe in all religions and churches it's why it's so important for us to speak our prayers out loud because we're healing through the frequency and the vibration of our own voice. You get to change your vibration in real time.
What I would love for you to take away from today is remembering that the law of vibration is a foundational law to attraction, to abundance, to cultivating the life that you want to live. You attract the level that you are vibrating at, you create the life of your frequency that you are vibrating at. So when you learn to notice your vibration and you choose to intentionally use tools like breathwork and gratitude and movement and visualization and even sound healing, you're raising your frequency. And the incredible news about doing that is that your external reality begins to shift to match that.
So this week, I encourage you to practice tuning in. Ask yourself, what energy am I carrying right now? What does my vibration feel like? And how do I want to increase that frequency to my frequency of success, my definition of success. So try one of these simple practices to raise your vibe when you are feeling low. Remember the butterfly that you're not chasing, you're choosing to be still and aligned and open, and everything's gonna flow to you naturally.
