Embracing Duality.. Sanctuary Sunday

Entering into this empty nest season of life is putting extra emphasis on the need to embrace duality. What do I mean by this? That we can allow two seemingly opposite things to exist at the same time, for the same situation. And that we can even view it as a gift.

Joy and sadness can reside in the same moment for the same circumstance. That duality is what makes for the richness of life. There is a sacredness to each step, each season.

We often tell ourselves that things shouldn’t co-exist. When we feel gratitude, we might feel shame for wanting more. When we feel grief, we might throw in that same for laughing and feeling joy (yet think about the beauty of this at a funeral).

Other opposites that are better together: Light and darkness, effort and ease, strong and soft, unsure and brave, messy and beautiful. These things can all co-exist, in the same moment, for the same circumstance.

I encourage you to look at your life and cultivate presence for all of it.

Be sure to join me THIS AFTERNOON for a FREE virtual sound bath, Sunday September 10th on Zoom at 4:00 pm CT!

I decided to do this as a celebration of my new stage in life, my new membership program, and to help all of you connect with your inner peace. You can embrace the duality of whatever opposites you want to hold in this moment with greater ease and deep rejuvenation.

Sign Up Here for my Free Sound Healing Experience, Sunday September 10th - 4:00 pm

Think of some of the more challenging situations in your life, and open up your heart to what else can co-exist there. Write out a list of ways that you can embrace duality around you. What does your inner wisdom have to share with you about this?

Wishing you a beautiful week, Kristin
