Season 2: Episode 18- Follow the Breadcrumbs + Trusting Your Evolution

Hello my friends, welcome back. Thank you so much for being here today. I'm excited because I decided to do something a little bit different with this episode. And I'm getting more personal about my own journey with my business and of course with my life. So we're gonna explore how I follow the breadcrumbs and how sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, but what it also has done recently is really allowed me to dive deep into astrology, which I'm super excited to share more about with you. If you've been following my work for any length of time, then you know that I have this insatiable desire to learn. I am a perpetual student. I am a student of topics. I am a student of others. I'm a student of life, I'm a student of myself. And so with that insatiable desire, over the years, I've accumulated over a thousand hours of various trainings across so many different modalities. So there's coaching and meditation, yoga nidra specialty within the meditation world, the sound baths and sound healing, breath work, energy reading, oracle cards coaching yoga a lot of people don't know this but I do actually also have my yoga teacher training and I have even recently done some additional things with that. So the list just goes on and here's what's interesting to me is that I've never seen these as separate things. I know from a marketing perspective that there's the whole message out there of like focus on one thing. But this is my journey of my interests and what I feel needs to be shared with the world or the people that want to hear it. And so to me, all these different things have felt like pieces of a larger puzzle. They're different languages that are all speaking to the same truth about energy about spirituality about how we create our lives from the inside out. If you listened to my message about spirituality and religions like to me it plays into that that really almost all religions have the same message. They're on the same journey and so to me pulling in all these other pieces of the puzzle has just been natural.

I've always woven the rhythms of nature into my work, and especially the moon cycles. I love knowing what's going on with the moon. You can ask my boys, I am the mom that's like, have you looked at the moon? When they're home, I sometimes make them go out and see it. So I love to tie my sound baths and other experiences around new moons and full moons because there is extra energy there that we get to work with. And then the solstices and the equinoxes, they mark important turning points. And so I've used those for like many day retreats or workshops because there is energy there in these, you know, celestial moments because they matter. They are energetic gateways that we can use to make changes within ourselves, make changes within our lives. I don't just see them as dates on the calendar or just the big pretty moon in the sky. There's a lot more going on there that we can work with.

So being drawn to astrology, has something that's always been a part of me. Like it's something I always looked at horoscopes when I was younger. And so it just kind of makes sense to me that after all these years and doing all this work in the fields of meditation and sound healing and breath work, like of course, that astrology is going to be a part of that because it's all energy and it's all tied together. And what I've really realized is that when you work with the moon and you honor the seasons and you pull in, you know, reading energy and understanding these subtle forces, astrology is this language that ties it all together. It is this map, it's a blueprint that shows us not just, you know, where we are in this moment, but also who we're like designed to be. What is our life lesson? What is our soul lesson? And what do we want to do with the energies within us? And so of course I'm wanting to talk about this because I just completed an intensive astrology training and I'm really integrating this expansion of that wisdom into everything that I do. So from my one-on-one soul purpose sessions, those have been primarily energy readings and card readings in the past, and I will pull birth chart readings into those. I will pull this astrology into my workshops and my retreats. And what's emerging, in my opinion, is this very beautiful comprehensive way of supporting people, supporting you to understand your energetic blueprint and align it with your soul's timing.

And today's episode isn't really about astrology itself, it's about something deeper that's happened with me and that is that this is about how we evolve. There are breadcrumbs, throughout our lives. And when we follow them, even when they don't make logical sense, there is this soul path that matters more than having a perfect master plan. So we will dive into some of my stories with that and with other things that I've studied. And hopefully you'll see some reflection of either your own life or something that you want to step into and give yourself permission to do that.

And before we get into those stories, I also want to talk about astrology and religion. Can we go there? I've been doing that on this podcast, right? Because I think it's okay for them to go together. So I know that there are a lot of churches including the Catholic Church that I grew up with, that don't have a supportive perspective on astrology. And that doesn't make sense to me. And I will tell you why. Because if we are taught and if we believe that God created the whole earth that we're on, and if we believe he created each one of us in his own image and likeness and that we all are a unique blueprint of the divine, then why wouldn't the entire solar system also have a purpose? Why would there just be planets out there? Like if God created everything and he created the other planets, why wouldn't they have an effect on us?

There is divine purpose and a divine plan to all of the things in the universe and how that affects us here on Earth. So of course, it's more our closer solar system, right? It's the planets around us because we're all revolving around one sun and so of course, those are going to affect us. So I actually don't see it as disrespecting Christianity or Catholicism or any religion. I actually think it does respect it because of course God the divine created all of this and there's a purpose behind it. Of course there's a purpose behind it. And when we can tap into understanding what those are, we can step into our souls path more fully. We can utilize the energies that are out there when the moon cycles change or the seasons change to really balance out all of the different energies that are within us and that are going on around us and just live a happier life. I actually think it's a path to living a happier life.

Okay, so. As I said, I've loved astrology my whole life. I've loved it since I was a kid. I've loved all the horoscopes. then society definitely thinks it's fun or funny or just something that girls are interested in, right? But as I really dove into all the trainings of all these other modalities. So I would say this is, know, within the past 10 years, even less than that, probably more in the past, like six to seven years, these embodiment practices that I trained in, the yoga, breath work, and even sound healing, there is embodiment in that because the vibrations are moving through your body. This is all about working directly with the nervous system and the body, the energy within your body in real time. I believe that that is why it's always made sense to me that when we slow down and when we regulate our nervous system, we have this greater access to our inner wisdom, our intuition. And from that point, we can align with our higher truth. We can listen to our heart and soul and get answers that our logical mind overthinks and doesn't bring to us.

So that part has been really easy for me to share with people. And when I am in person with you, when I do one-on-one sessions, if people want to do oracle cards or they want to have their energy read, I love doing that. Don't ever think that I'm reading your energy without permission. So if you're a friend, you know me, I would never be reading your energy without permission. When I have done that with people and I have pulled Oracle cards and it's blown me away, the messages that come through, I'm like oh, this is really powerful. This is really real that this energy stuff works.

So of course the moon cycles needed to be a bigger part of all of that, especially in well, in both groups, but also we can use it in our own life. I can't remember if I shared what I just did on the Winter Solstice that was the 13 Wishes practice. I am definitely gonna lead a group or encourage a group to do that next year, but it's something you could do anytime where you write down 13 wishes and then you give them all over to the universe, to the divine, to God. And each night you take one out. And in theory, you know, like the very ritualistic thing to do is to burn it. I would just like rip it up, run it under water, put it in my recycling. But then at the very last wish that you're left with, so you do that over 12 nights, and then the 13th wish is the one that the universe is saying back to you, this is for you to take care of. And I loved doing that. I have never done it before. And it was such a cool practice and that started with the solstice. And so that's what I mean, using these moments in time that the moon is changing, the seasons are changing, you know, the solstice is the darkest night. So it's the return to the light. It was so great and so powerful. And I have been studying astrology all this past year because if I'm gonna tie it into all this other work that I'm doing, I wanted to have a truly better understanding of it. Like what I've been doing for the past several years is a lot of YouTube binging, right? And finding the Moonamends account or other things to learn about what was coming. So was like, what if I just studied this and I could understand it and see it myself? And so that was the pull for me to do that and I jumped through, I always have to go all in on all these things. So I did a level three that was a four day immersion that was so, so incredible. I mean, I was so sad when it was over. I wanted to spend so much more time with all of the people that I did the class with. When you learn these intricate details of how your chart was made for you. It's your blueprint. And it was just really, really cool, really beautiful, kind of overwhelming. I'm so excited about it to incorporate it more. The school that I did, I studied with Deborah Silverman. She's kind of a celebrity astrologist, so to speak, in that I think Sting has been one of her clients for a long time. He's written the foreword in one of her books, maybe two of her books. And so she has a huge school with thousands of students and dozens of teachers. And she's maybe in her late 60s or so. So she's been teaching this for like 40 years already. And there had not actually been other astrology schools that really spoke to me. I wasn't looking to find the right astrology school. That is not how this happened. This was a breadcrumb that, as you know, I love to talk about purpose. I love to talk about soul purpose, life purpose, soul's path. And that is the form of astrology that she teaches. It's called esoteric astrology, which is a soul-led version. And so that is the first time that really studying astrology spoke to me. It's like, yeah, I want to know in this blueprint how our soul is speaking to us. And what I just learned and what I'm integrating is one of my favorite things that I've ever done. I'm so excited about it. And so I just want to share that about, to me, that is what following breadcrumbs actually means. So yes, I've had this interest and I've had this love of it, but I didn't really ever feel called to have to study it. I didn't ever think like, I'm going to become an astrologer and give astrology readings. I never thought that I would do the energy readings that I studied for a couple of years ago. I didn't think that this was a path I was going to go down, but I followed the breadcrumbs as they open. I guess breadcrumbs don't open, but you get what I'm saying. Like as they were placed in front of me, like, yeah, that's super interesting. I'm going to take that next breadcrumb.

And this approach does really require trust and it requires resilience because there's definitely things that I have tried that haven't been hugely successful. know, so like off topic with that, if you know my work, you might also know that I have illuminated finance, which is a spiritual financial coaching arm of my business. And within that, I'm also teaching money mindset to the one-on-one clients that I have. And I created a VIP day to work with clients who have built a bigger business. So that's for companies that are say like $250,000 in annual revenues or higher. That's when it makes sense to do one of the VIP days. And that idea of mixing my spiritual stuff with my financial background, because I do have my MBA in finance, it came to me in a meditation.

And so the interesting part of that is I was like, okay, so I'm just going to trust this and I'm going to try it. And I spent all of 2025 trying it. And I worked with some really lovely clients and I'm really happy that I did it. And it's definitely something that's out there that I can still do because all of that is very natural to me. I understand finances. I can teach spiritual or wellness people about their finances. And I'm on so much more of a personal or should I say a spiritual path that the finances piece of it didn't light me up enough to turn it into a massive business. And I think that's because what I also now know was coming is that I am going to build a retreat business. And so yes, within my retreats, we'll have astrology and we'll have sound bass and we'll have all of the things that I do. But I feel like trying the illuminated finance was something that actually did make a logical sense because it seems like something that people would pay for and that it's just like, yeah, that's a great idea. Spiritual entrepreneurs, wellness entrepreneurs, they didn't get their MBA in finance like I did. So help them. And I think that the only explanation of it not being super successful is my own energy around it. Like I have no other explanation than that, right?

That is where following the breadcrumbs and requires trust and faith and resilience. And it's okay to make a change. It's okay to try one path and then be like, you know what? That is not lighting up my soul. I'm happy to do it a little bit, but it's not what I want to do all of the time. And when you've done that, it allows space to emerge. It allows the next idea to emerge. And I think it's important to follow the breadcrumbs of what's next. Like I will tell you, actually asked that in my meditations of like, huh, so why did this idea of illuminated finance come to me in meditation and it didn't blow up into huge success, you know, the way that society would define it or that I wanted it to. And the answer is really simple that comes back to me in meditation. It's like, there are infinite and opportunities, so follow what your heart and soul is telling you lights you up.

And so I do want to ask that question for you, since we are talking about the breadcrumbs of our lives. So where do you think that's leading you? Maybe is there something like astrology for me that keeps showing up in your life that you might be dismissing. You might have grown out of it, but there's a little whisper in your heart and soul that says, no, actually, I'm super curious about that and would love to study more. And maybe if like me, you just hadn't found your right teacher, you can ask for that. You could have a little prayer or meditation around that of like, please put a breadcrumb in my path that has the right teacher for me.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You know, I always say that the journey is the purpose. This is my signature phrase. And honestly, I think there's so much wisdom in that because we hold ourselves back because we're afraid of failure. But I don't actually see illuminated finance as failure. I see it as experience and learning. of oh, you know what, this is actually how I felt about it in my heart and soul. And I hadn't really given myself permission to continue my journey within the spiritual world or within the astrology world, right? And it is okay for your path to switch. And just like the astrology journey that I just shared, it's an example of how we evolve. We're not meant to stay the same. You know, we watch our kids grow and kids growing from zero to five, my gosh, they're drastically different people every year of that. Five to 10, drastically different people every year of that. And that keeps happening. But then when we're older, we somehow think that we're not growing, but we're actually supposed to. We are supposed to continually evolve. That is the purpose of life. The journey is the purpose. I will say it again.

So my message for you is to trust your breadcrumbs, have faith, honor your evolution, know that you can change your path when something doesn't turn out exactly how you wanted it to. And you can just return to other things with new eyes. And so with that, if you would like to explore your own energetic blueprint, I have my readings available.
