I hope you are enjoying Labor Day and the long weekend! This is always such a crossroads moment in my life, with summer’s end and the new rhythm of fall around the corner. This year is the biggest one yet for me as we enter our empty nest stage and are back from the school drop offs.
If you have also been through the overwhelm of the back-to-school (or “off-to-school”) hustle, combined with the bittersweet feeling of bidding farewell to summer (or even your college kids), take a moment with me: we could use a collective deep breath and embrace the power of resets.
Just as the ocean tide rises and falls, our breath serves as a natural rhythm, ebbing and flowing through each moment. By taking deliberate, deep breaths, we invite calmness into our lives, into our bodies, and into our nervous system. Breathing mindfully can be a simple yet super powerful practice, allowing us to tap into our inner peace.
Deep breaths are the foundation of a reset and renewal.
One of the resets that I felt called to do for the month of September is creating more opportunities for you to experience breathwork, meditation, and sound healing with me. Envision yourself taking a leisurely walk on the beach. With each step, you inhale the salty breeze and time it to the waves, and exhale any lingering tension.
