Did you get to practice slowing down in a few moments over this past week? If you did, hopefully you noticed and felt the beauty right in front of you, all around you.
And that really great feeling is what leads to expansion.
When we try to figure out what we “should” be doing, instead of being present to what feels good in our heart and soul, we don’t take action. The “should” is what leaves us feeling uninspired, lacking clarity and motivation, disconnected.
I’ve hit this several times on my business journey (and plenty of other areas in my life!). The marketing advice that just didn’t resonate with who I am was a “should.” I tried to push myself to do it because it has worked for others, but when my energy isn’t behind it, the message doesn’t translate. Not worth it. Trying to do things this way felt like the opposite of expansion!
Slowing down clears out the brain fog and allows us to connect with and EXPAND into our motivation. Inspired action feels good. This is not to say that things will be easy or fearless, but we know they are worth doing because they are aligned with our vision and expansion.
Slowing down and expanding are not mutually exclusive - they are better together! They are the keys to fully unlocking your fulfillment, your possibilities and your potential.
Intentional living includes time to Restore AND Expand.
A few journal prompts to reflect on today or this week:
When I check in with myself, what part of my life would I like to uplevel and expand?
How can I support myself to follow through with that?
What would intentional action look like that comes from a place of feeling good?
I nurture myself with inspired action that feels good and moves me toward fulfillment and expansion.
If you feel ready to expand and would like more customized private support in creating your intentional life, this is the foundation and purpose of my work. Email me to explore options!
Spring and it's energy of renewal is a great time to focus on your growth and expansion.
With love,
Kristin
