Nourishment... Sanctuary Sunday

As we all know and witness throughout the summer months, our yards and gardens require a little extra nurturing (or a lot!). When we tend to them, they thrive and are so pretty. When we ignore them, we can expect that things will dry up and not be in bloom. It’s just the simple acts of intention and follow through.

We need to do this same process for our own lives. We need to nourish our physical body through activity, nutrition, and sleep. We need to nourish our mind through books and intellectual stimulation, as well as letting our mind rest in mindfulness and meditation. We need to nourish our heart and soul with loved ones, nature, and cultivating joy and fulfillment.

When we set the intention of nourishing ourselves, and follow through on that intention, that is when we will blossom.

Take a moment to reflect on the various ways you currently nourish your body, mind, heart, and soul. Are there any areas that may require more attention or balance? How can you incorporate more nourishing practices into your daily life?

Journal Prompt: Imagine your ideal state of nourishment in each aspect of your being. Describe in detail how you would feel and how your life would transform and blossom if you consistently nurtured your body, mind, heart, and soul.

With gratitude, Kristin

I offer single sessions and a 3-session pack with a discount, which you can sign up for here:
